The 2010 PTI Technology Solutions & Innovations Conference brings together local government officials and representatives from the private sector interested in learning about the technology issues, challenges and opportunities facing America’s cities and counties.
 
Presented by Public Technology Institute, a national non-profit technology research organization created by and for local governments, the conference will address Next Practices in the New Economy: Opportunities for Innovation and Collaboration.

The 9th Annual Information Technology/Information Systems Security (IT/ISS) Partnership and Training Conference will be in Orlando, Florida. This premier event is scheduled to take place from March 29 – April 2, 2010. This year’s event is expected to attract over 1000 attendees to include key personnel, such as senior executives, chief information officers, information systems security managers and personnel from the IT/ISS workforce from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the Department of Transportation (DOT).
Training: The Federal Information Security Management Act of 2002 (FISMA), the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication [SP] 800-16, the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) regulation 5 CFR Part 930, and the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-130, Appendix III, requires all personnel with significant information security responsibilities to receive annual information security specialized training. Attendance and participation in the training offered at the FAA IT/ISS Partnership and Training Conference (general sessions, information sessions, and workshops) satisfies the FISMA information systems security specialized training requirement.
Business Networking: The conference offers a wide variety of business networking opportunities among DOT and FAA IT/ISS specialists. This conference encourages DOT and FAA IT/ISS managers and decision makers to meet one-on-one to discuss critical issues within their organizations.
Exhibitors: The conference offers industry partners the ability to display and showcase their cutting-edge technology to DOT and FAA personnel.
