MicroLink Announces the Release of TaskSync 2.5, an Outlook Add-in Tool

TaskSync 2.5 Provides Easy Synchronization of Calendars, Contacts, and Tasks with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) and Windows SharePoint Services (WSS lists)

Vienna, VA — August 28, 2008 —MicroLink, LLC, Microsoft’s Federal Partner of the Year (2007), DoD Partner of the Year (2006, 2007) and Autonomy’s Global Partner of the Year (2007), announces the availability of TaskSync 2.5, an Outlook add-in tool that synchronizes local Outlook 2003/2007 calendars, contacts, and tasks, with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS) and Windows SharePoint Services (WSS lists).

Task Sync 2.5 automatically synchronizes tasks, contacts, and events between Outlook 2003/2007 and subscribed MOSS/WSS lists, thus improving task management processes. For the public sector, TaskSync 2.5 supports authentication using Digital Certificates or Common Access Cards.

Key Features for Task Sync 2.5 include:

• Status view that summarizes the items being tracked.
• Manage button that accesses the Managed Synchronization Lists dialog box to subscribe and unsubscribe to portal or site lists.
• Publish button (Item Toolbar) that links and updates tasks, contacts or events created in Outlook with a portal or site list.
• Un-publish button (Item Toolbar) that removes links of local items synchronized with a portal or site list.
• List Types section to pick what to synchronize, tasks, contacts, appointments, and issue tracking.
• Selection buttons to pick which available lists to synchronize or unsynchronize.
