MicroLink, LLC Brings Microsoft Across America Mobile Event Experience to the Microsoft Office in Reston
State-of-the-Art Mobile Lab is Loaded with COTS Technology from Microsoft and will Demonstrate How a Unified Communications and Collaboration Platform Can Help Increase Productivity and Save Costs
Vienna, VA — April 1, 2008 — MicroLink LLC, Microsoft’s Federal Partner of the Year (2007), DoD Partner of the Year (2006, 2007) announced that is bringing the Microsoft America Truck Mobile Event Experience to Reston, VA on Friday, April 25. The Mobile Event Experience is a 42-foot truck completely outfitted with the latest business technology. Attendees can board the truck and test out all of the products inside.
MicroLink LLC is using the truck to launch a Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) campaign geared at enabling businesses to realize broader collaboration capabilities while leveraging their existing IT investments. UCC is a cornerstone in Microsoft’s collaboration platform that breaks down traditional communication silos for e-mail, IM, conferencing, and voice. It enables users to communicate and collaborate within their familiar desktop and mobile applications and switch seamlessly between different forms of communication.
