MICROLINK EARNS MICROSOFT BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE COMPETENCY

Competency Strengthens MicroLink’s Position as a Leading Microsoft Business Intelligence Partner

Vienna, Virginia- March 2, 2009 - MicroLink, LLC ,Microsoft’s Federal Repeatable Solutions Award (2008), Microsoft Federal Partner of the Year (2007), Microsoft DoD Partner of the Year (2006, 2007), was awarded the Microsoft Business Intelligence (BI) Competency. By earning this competency, MicroLink strengthened the company’s position as a leading Microsoft Business Intelligence Partner.

MicroLink, a leading provider of BI solutions based on the Microsoft Business Intelligence platform, employs respected professionals of the Business Intelligence industry including Doug Harts, author of Microsoft Office 2007 Business Intelligence, Reporting, Analysis and Measurement from the Desktop. In addition, MicroLink is a member company of the Microsoft’s Business Intelligence Partner Advisory Council (BI-PAC) and participates regularly in Microsoft’s Technology Advancement Program. These two memberships allowed the company to be part of the newest releases of SQL Server and Microsoft Office 2010.

In order to earn the Business Intelligence Competency Award, MicroLink was required to meet specific Microsoft competency criteria. These requirements included approved customer references and MicroLink employees had to receive certifications in business intelligence infrastructure, database design and implementation, data mining, decision support, data warehousing, Microsoft SQL Server, and Online Analytical Processing.

MicroLink LLC earned two other Microsoft competencies at the same time that the company earned the BI competency. In addition to the Business Intelligence Competency, MicroLink gained the SOA and Business Process and Information Worker Solutions competencies.
